This actually seems to be the default setting in the link you sent, although that article does not mention how to get it to that point.
I want it to search by first name (or by both parameters) but cannot find a setting for this. You will find a button labelled Auto Prompt Entry on a number of different screens within the NBS Amicus system. In the To field for me, it currently searches autofill contacts by last name by default. It does that by automatically presenting information to you to choose from, with the amount of information you see conveniently filtered by a set of criteria that you specify.
The Auto Prompt feature gives you the capability to enter information into NBS Amicus more quickly than would otherwise be possible.
